Is it just me, or was Notre Dame a victim of their own hype machine? Not in Alabama's league. And yet I read a delusional Notre Dame writer lament the punt fumble call as the turning point for Notre Dame. The only turning point was they should have turned around and gone back to the locker instead of playing the game.

Not sure why, but I am so glad all these tributes to Huell Howser on KCET and others are such glowing tributes. One producer did say, if somebody crossed Huel, look out, but otherwise he was exactly as he seemed on camera. 

Love how, when the six or eight aging museum docents would shyly hang back, Huell would draw them out in a way only he could. You could just see it was one of the greatest things that ever happened to them.
